There's now a proper pricing page at 4thcoach.com/pricing, with Free and 4thCoach+ side by side. It spells out what the free plan actually includes, which the site never really said before — you could land here and not realize there was anything to try without paying. We also fixed sign-in for anyone opening 4thCoach from inside another app, where the sign-in window could fail without saying why. If a shared link ever dropped you on a screen that went nowhere, that was this.

The app no longer quotes a remembered price anywhere — locked-feature teases and the paywall always show the live tryout price, so the number you tap is exactly the number checkout charges.
Feedback without the form.
Sending us feedback is now just writing it — 4thCoach reads your message and files it as a bug, an idea, or a kind word on its own. The category picker is gone from the feedback sheet.
Pitching notes point at the exact move.
A repair to how findings describe the motion they saw: pitching feedback ties back to the specific move in the delivery it's about, in the vocabulary a pitching coach would use, instead of drifting into generic phrasing.
The tryout ladder now starts free.
The first 25 spots on the tryout ladder were free for six months — a real subscription with a card on file, list price after, cancel anytime. Withdrawn before launch, before any spot was claimed: the ladder now opens at its first paid rung (see the July 31 pricing entry), and free access is invite-only via tryout codes.
Analysis effects and Ask 4thCoach, on for everyone.
The animated analysis treatment and Ask 4thCoach are now on for every account, and the paywall quotes the live tryout price. Plus a library cleanup: failed clips no longer duplicate or resist deletion, and Progress refreshes itself when you come back to the app.
Baseball coaching goes deeper.
Pitching and hitting clips now come back with position-aware, checkpoint-level coaching instead of general movement notes. Also fixed: rosters were allowing one fewer player than your plan actually includes.
Progress starts on your home screen.
The findings hub is now called Progress, and it leads with the one change most worth knowing. A new home-screen block surfaces that signal the moment you open the app — the full picture of patterns is one tap deeper.
One live price at a time.
Tryout pricing now shows a single live rung — the exact price you can get today — with every later step and its real spot count listed underneath. Free six-month spots still exist; those come by invite rather than off the pricing page.

Every note 4thCoach writes is about what a body part did on the play — never about the athlete's size, weight, or appearance, in either direction. No diet suggestions, no guesses about injuries. When the safest thing is to say less, it says less.

Clips you upload are automatically deleted after 180 days, but everything 4thCoach learned from them — the findings, the patterns, your progress — stays put. You keep the coaching without us keeping your kid’s footage forever.
Your library survives a new phone.
Sign in on a new device and your clips, players, and names come back down with you — download them all at once, or let 4thCoach fetch them as you go. Re-analyzing an old clip no longer means uploading it again either.
More of your clips get reviewed on the first try.
Sideways footage, clips that lost their length, and big batches imported all at once used to come back unreviewed. They go through now — so fewer of your real moments bounce for reasons that were never about the play.

Drag to fine-tune exactly which slice of the clip a finding points at, flip between the moment and the full clip while you watch, and tap to go deeper on any note until it makes sense. 4thCoach also remembers how much detail you like per sport.

Any finding can now become a clean, shareable card — the moment, the note, and the cue — sent straight from the share sheet. Handy for the group chat, or for the coach who wasn’t at the game.

Every couple of weeks 4thCoach sends a short recap of what changed for each of your players — what’s trending better, what’s still worth working on, and any milestones they hit along the way.

Each finding now has a quick rate action — mark it spot-on, or say why it wasn't (wrong moment, cut off, already fixed). Findings you dismiss stay dismissed, so your feed gets sharper the more you use it.

4thCoach finds the most active window in longer clips and lines up the trim on it automatically, so you don't have to hunt for the rep yourself. We also gave the analyzing screen a cleaner look while your clip is being reviewed.

You can now run up to 10 clip analyses a day, up from 5. We also added a dedicated coaching pass for baseball hitting, so swing feedback goes deeper than our general movement analysis.
